Meditation
We’ve all had the experience of being in a huge hurry, and not being able to find the car keys, briefcase, cell phone, etc. As we search we feel time slipping away.
You’re going to be late. And it’s really not okay to be late for the class you are teaching, the meeting or workshop you are leading. Or, because your co-workers are counting on you. Or maybe, because, your child is waiting outside somewhere, alone, for a ride home.
What does that have to do with meditation?
Meditation is a tool, that when used regularly, offers many practical rewards.
Yes. It lowers blood pressure. It improves digestion. It protects your heart.
But it does much more. It frees up your creativity and helps you become a better problem-solver. The more often you do it, the more quickly you can switch off fear and anxiety and come up with solutions, including remembering where you put those darn keys!
Relax Now!
My CD, Relax Now! Walks you through some simple breathing and meditation exercises. By listening, repeatedly, you will teach yourself a new way to respond in moments of stress. You will teach yourself the habit of being calm and focused.
